Description

Mishkak is prepared on local-style skewers of Australian lamb, with a piece of fat in the middle. Each skewer is 30gm. 4 meat cubes and 1 fat cubes. 100% fresh. 100% halal.

Ingredients: Salt, Ginger Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Garlic Powder, Meat Masala, Turmeric Powder, Lemon Juice, Tamarind Paste and Sunflower Oil.

Grilled Lamb Mishkak Flatbreads

Ingredients:
- 500g Seasoned AUS Lamb Mishkak Barbecue Cubes
- 4 pieces of flatbread or pita bread
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 tomato, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for brushing

Instructions:
1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. Thread the Seasoned AUS Lamb Mishkak Barbecue Cubes onto skewers.
3. In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt with lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped mint, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to make the yogurt sauce. Set aside.
4. Grill the lamb mishkak skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired level of doneness and has a nice char.
5. While the lamb is grilling, lightly brush the flatbread or pita bread with olive oil on both sides.
6. Place the oiled flatbread on the grill and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly toasted and grill marks appear.
7. Remove the grilled flatbread from the grill and spread a generous amount of the prepared yogurt sauce over each piece.
8. Once the lamb mishkak skewers are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them cool slightly.
9. Slide the grilled lamb cubes off the skewers and distribute them evenly over the flatbreads.
10. Top the lamb with sliced cucumber, tomato, and red onion.
11. Season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
12. Serve the grilled lamb mishkak flatbreads immediately, either open-faced or folded over, and enjoy!
