Spiced Meat Kebabs with Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients:

For the kebabs:

  • 500g Seasoned Meat Kebab (e.g., beef, lamb, or chicken)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden or metal skewers

For the yogurt sauce:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and squeezed to remove excess moisture
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning while grilling.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Seasoned Meat Kebab with chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, ground coriander, ground cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed and the meat is well coated with the spices.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the meat mixture for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated meat onto skewers, shaping them into kebabs.
  6. Place the kebabs on the preheated grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked through and has nice grill marks on all sides.
  7. While the kebabs are grilling, prepare the yogurt sauce. In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, chopped mint, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  8. Once the kebabs are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  9. Serve the spiced meat kebabs hot with the yogurt sauce on the side for dipping.
